“I first fell in love with chocolate at the age of 6 when my mother took me to a chocolatier to buy chocolates. The smells, the artistry and the atmosphere of that place made me decide to become a chocolatier myself. I love all aspects of chocolate making but have a particular skill in chocolate sculptures and kneading chocolate. I have made a number of friends quite jealous by being selected to go to Shanghai. I hope to prove that even a small chocolatier from Belgium can represent his country to the world.”
