“I have been working with chocolate since the age of 14. However, it took 20 years of working as a pastry chef before I took the plunge and opened my own chocolatier at the age of 40. The business has since grown considerably and we now have two shops in Duffel and Mechelen and export small volumes to such places as Copenhagen, Dubai and now also Shanghai. I am always up for a challenge and am dedicated to building for the future so that one day, perhaps, my children can continue the legacy.”
